Although we live right on a beach, one of our favorite things to do outdoors in the Spring is to go camping! The weather is FINALLY warm enough to be outside in sleeping bags, and we just got our camper fully renovated inside (pics coming soon)! If you’ve followed for a while, you know we love having our morning coffees while camping, and this was our very first one in the new van in Montauk, NY. We made the drive out east this past weekend, and slept in the van for two nights as a trial run, making notes on what needed to be tweaked, things that were missing and also just enjoying that after so many years we are finally the proud owners of our own camper van! It’s going to be a REALLY fun Spring and Summer season, and we have so many adventures on the horizon!
I was also excited because I finally convinced Matt to let me dress him for a fun partnership with Marks & Spencer! When we head out on camping trips, I love to pack light and bring versatile items like these that can be re-worn. These looks were great to throw on and look put together, and they fit the Montauk vibe perfectly. I picked out this cute cactus print shirt for Matt from the awesome selection of guys tops on Marks & Spencer, and I am obsessed! It fits him so well, and the pattern is adorable.
A lot of you ask where I get most of Hudson’s clothing, and I’ve been loving the versatility of Marks & Spencers’ selection. Everything is affordable, and they have great pieces that can carry over into summer, like this cute 2-piece bodysuit! How friggin cute does Hudson look in it? I know he’ll be rocking this at Summer birthday parties and weddings with some loafers, and maybe a hat! As for me, I obviously love this mustard checked blouse because it has just the right amount of extra detailing, and the colors are adorable! I have been so into circle bags lately, and this yellow circle crossbody bag is high on my list of “will wear every day of summer” bags.
After we snapped these photos (and got dressed up feeling all snazzy for the day) we went and grabbed some breakfast at a cute local breakfast spot in town. Montauk is perfect to visit at this time of the year when it isn’t too crowded. If you’re interested, here’s another post from Montauk from a few years back!
