If you’ve been following along on our home renovations, you may have noticed that the guest room that we just revealed has a bit of a nook off to the side. We were pretty tempted to forget about this space, or add a chair and call it a reading nook, but Matt fell in love with the privacy of the upstairs, and wanted it to become his office space. I loved the challenge, and we partnered with West Elm to make Matt’s dream come true in part of the series I’ve been working on with them for Front + Main!
Right away I knew I wanted to continue the beautiful jewel tone green color from the guest room into this space. When I saw this velvet chair, I knew it was the one for this space! I also knew before we even measured the space that this Mid-Century desk was going to be THE desk. It’s the most gorgeous acorn color, and I love that it offers storage space as well. The chair is also a great height side-by-side with the desk, which worked out perfectly. We cozied up the space by adding in this Wool Rug that has hints of gold in it. We also hung tons of Matt’s favorite prints and photobooth photos on this wire wall grid, which personalizes the space. I’m so happy with how it turned out, and he has been super productive since it’s completion!
Stay tuned for tons more home reveals coming soon!
