I’ve been waiting for a while to write this post, but finally sat down to give you a full review of our stroller + carseat of choice, the UPPAbaby VISTA along with the MESA infant carseat.
As a starter, I get asked often what pieces we needed to create our stroller setup. Before we had Charlie, we solely had the UPPAbaby VISTA (which includes the Toddler seat suitable for up to 50 lbs and the Bassinet), and then once I became pregnant we purchased the MESA infant car seat that works with the stroller, and the RumbleSeat to create the double stroller setup in which Hudson’s seat is in the lower position. We found the RumbleSeat is not 100% necessary unless you have a child that is under 35 lbs. Hudson is a bit big to use it, and we plan on using it more for Charlie when he gets bigger. We currently use the stroller in the position pictured above, using Hudson’s original Toddler seat in the upper position, with the MESA carseat attached down below. In order to switch the VISTA from a single to a double stroller is extremely easy. We just added on Upper and Lower adapters in order to make it so the car seat can click in, and it takes a matter of seconds! There’s a few reasons that I picked this stroller setup, but the main reason was that I loved how narrow the stroller is, and that I can get in and out of doors easily without a double wide!
Some other features of the VISTA that I really love are:
Here’s some more information on the MESA carseat, and why we picked it:
If you’re pregnant with your second, and wondering what stroller you should get, I am 100% all-in on our stroller setup. To be honest, it’s what most of my mom friends also have! It works wonderfully if you live in a city and need a larger basket for storage, or if you live in suburbia like me, but walk a lot. Both of my boys still nap in the stroller, and they both still use it every day! If you have any other questions, feel free to DM me!
