The A-Frame Living Room Reveal!

I am so excited to finally share a (mostly) completed living room reveal for our A-Frame home! I’ve been working tirelessly on finishing up the space before the winter hits, and other than small details like a custom entryway DIY I have planned, everything has mostly come together in a way that feels cozy and complete! Every piece I’ve picked for the A-frame has had a modern and scandinavian feeling to it, so when I found EQ3, I was so excited. All of their pieces are made to feel timeless and custom, like this gorgeous ban coffee table, made from solid oak wood. It really tied the beams and the living room together, and the design is solid and baby-proof.

This custom moroccan rug took a while to arrive, but I just love that it adds a pop of texture, without being overly large. Since the space is very much indoor/outdoor, and a lot of dirt and leaves gets tracked inside, especially in winter, I didn’t want an oversized rug that could constantly be getting dirty. This one gets the job done, and the warm brown tones make the space feel comfortable.

The last piece to arrive was this gorgeous custom Suite Chair – it feels SO well made, and sturdy, and I love that it swivels around so whoever is sitting in it can have a conversation with someone on the couch, or with someone behind them sitting at the table. There’s tons of upholstery to choose from, and I chose the Grade 10 polo cream color. Suite is a remastered Scandinavian chair originally designed in the 60s, and it fits in seamlessly with the design of our home. I also added this lamp over top, which is a lovely spot to sit and read late at night. I keep my childrens toys hidden away in these baskets behind the couch. My last and favorite accent is this sofa saddle bag, that can house magazines or books! It adds such a special touch!

We’ve been enjoying Fall evenings here, cuddled up with a book, and we cannot wait for cozy winter nights here with the fireplace on!

*Thanks to EQ3 for partnering on this post!

On our coffee table, I have this weave tray, made in vietnam, housing some seasonal candles, and books with local hikes.
