It has been a while since I’ve shared my everyday makeup, and I feel like I really perfected it lately! I wanted to share some of my recent favorites, since I am finally so confident with all of the makeup that I use, and that it’s the best I can find haha! It takes sooo long to get there. So here goes!
I start by using the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage foundation. I really love how smoothing this foundation is, and it truly covers everything. I then use this Clove + Hallow palette for a bit of contouring on my cheeks, and then I use the lightest shade for eyeshadow. I really love this palette because it has a bit of shimmer, and I also love that I can use it as eyeshadow, blush and for contouring. I then add a bit of blush to my cheeks with the Blush Duo – It’s a cream and powder duo, but I use the cream blush because I find that it moisturizes my skin and leaves it with a dewey look that I love.
After my foundation is all done, I move on to adding some liner to my eyes and brows. I used to be a heavy cat-eye person, but lately I’ve been going for a more natural and subtle look by switching from black to brown shades. I really love this Tarteist double Take Eyeliner – it’s a pencil mixed with a liquid eyeliner. I use the liquid to line my eyes, and then I add some color on top with this Born to Run Eyeshadow Palette – the pigmentation is so rich, and I love the variety in colors. Finally I’ll fill in my brows, and add mascara. This Volumizing mascara is truly the best of the best. The brush is smaller, so it gets into the corners easily, and it never leaves my lashes clumpy! I add this cookie highlighter to finish, and add it on to my cheeks and the tip of my nose – it’s the only highlighter I tried that never gets overdone, and has such lovely shimmer to it!
There you have it! It takes me about 5-10 minutes to follow this routine!
