I cannot believe I am TURNING 33 this week! I read somewhere that even as you age, you always feel young on the inside, and I could not agree more. It doesn’t matter how old I get, or how many kids I have, I still just feel like me – the 15-year-old version that loves to be obnoxious to my siblings, eat too much ice cream, binge watch Gilmore Girls and gets giddy over packages of clothes coming in the mail. The core of my being has not changed, which I like to think is a good thing. I love to keep that young, lighthearted version of myself! This past year was really wild, considering I turned 32 while pregnant with Charlie, and now at 33 he is here. He’s been the best gift this year amongst a lot of other really crazy parts, like Matt being out of work, and us being at home for the first half of 2020. In my 33rd year, I am looking forward to spending more time with my family, getting to know Charlie better, watching Hudson learn to read and write more and getting more settled in to our home in year two after renovating. I am at the point in life where I feel all around pretty settled, and I like it that way.
In being settled, I am also the TOUGHEST person to get gifts for, and this year most people actually gave up haha!
