My Favorite Shops For Baby Boy Clothing

When I was pregnant with Hudson, I frantically was buying baby clothes just to fill my drawers. I always heard how much babies poop and pee and destroy their clothing, and while I liked some of his clothing, I didnt LOVE all of it, and I was always left with excess and pieces he didn’t even get around to wearing. With Charlie I shopped in a completely opposite way. I don’t mind spending a bit on a piece I really love for him, but he also doesn’t have that much clothing. Every piece I pick out for him I’ve thoughtfully curated. This is also silly, but I know that when Matt dresses the kids, he just grabs whatever from the drawer, so I love that I adore every single piece of clothing Charlie owns, and will love anything Matt puts on. Because let me tell ya, he’s put together some INTERESTING looks haha! I am pretty passionate about kids clothing, and since so many of you ask me about “dressing boys” I wanted to create this post as a destination you can come to if you are pregnant with a boy, to find cute clothing that isn’t just blue or filled with fire trucks. I am not so into the stereotypical “boy clothes” and I love to put my boys in pieces with flowers, with fun colors, or matching clothes! Here’s some of my favorite shops, both big and small!

BIGGER STORES:

Just to get it out of the way, I wanted to mention that I pick up a lot of pieces from H&M and Zara for the boys. The H&M newborn pieces sell out quickly, so you need to act fast! Both stores run big, so I would not size up, if you’re hoping to have the clothing fit for longer, because if you do they most likely will not fit. I also periodically check Old Navy and Gap for baby clothes, and find some cute pieces once in a blue moon. I wanted to include these, because I realize that the smaller businesses are sometimes a bit more expensive, and these are a more affordable option.

TENTH & PINE

I really love this shop for neutral onesies that have cute sayings on them. A lot of Charlies staple onesies are from here.

OLIVER & RAIN

I really love this sustainably made brand, mostly because all of their colors and prints are unique and happy. Charlie has some onesies and pants from here, and he gets so much use out of them! They’re all very soft, and well made.

WILD WAWA

It is no surprise that I am completely smitten with Wild Wawa. All of their beautiful neutral and yellow colored pieces are right in my color scheme, and I love their usage of rainbows and flowers in a lot of their pieces. I also adore all of the hats they create, especially in the Fall!

KATE QUINN

If you are looking for some gorgeous patterns and interesting fabrics, Kate Quinn has some adorable options. I also love that there’s matching pieces for both babies and toddlers, and I’ve ordered some matching sets for Hudson and Charlie from here (pictured above!)

QUINCY MAE / RYLEE AND CRU

Created by the incredibly talented Kelli Murray, both of her brands are my absolute favorite. I love Rylee & Cru for Hudson’s age, and for baby pieces, Quincy Mae is always my go-to. I pick up all of Charlies booties from here, and love how well these stay on his feet. I also love their bloomers so much, and Charlie wears them most days during the Summer!

THE BEE AND THE FOX

This is hands-down one of my favorite shops to order from. I love that they have pieces for Hudson, Charlie and I to all match! The designs are also neutral, but with really cute text!

HANNA ANDERSSON

Recently, most of Hudson’s clothes have all come from here. Every piece is extremely well-made, and they have adorable matching shirts for the boys, as well as pajamas that include adult sizing as well. The colors are all really bright and happy, and the design is very simplistic.

SPEARMINT LOVE

Ok, so this website is horrible. You’re going to click-thru, and wonder if it’s sketchy, because some of you have DMed me and asked me my experience with this shop. So many pieces are sold out in so many various sizes, BUT the pieces I have snagged are sooo cute and soft, and I’ve loved them. So it’s just very hit or miss, but I definitely recommend it if you want to put up with sifting through their site.

NATURE SUPPLY COMPANY

If you’re looking for eco-conscious clothing, and you love gardening or the outdoors, this shop makes such cute pieces! There’s also baby and toddler sizing.

MAISONETTE

If you like to shop in a place that curates all of the above brands without having to click to each site individually, this is a great option. They have wonderful sales, and an endless amount of really great childrens brands all in one plane!

That’s my big list of shops that I browse through season to season! They are all wonderful, and I am excited to share the joy of shopping for a baby boy with you!
