My Staple Boots This Fall/Winter (Budget Friendly!)

Over the knee boots

I’ve been meaning to sit and write this post for a while, and finally got around to it this week! I am such a shoe fanatic, and I am also really particular about the color and shape of boots I choose to wear – as you can tell most of my shoes are brown! I just really love brown accessories, and I also find that it’s easier to get dressed when all of my accessories already match! Here’s a rundown of most of the Fall boots that I own, and what they each style best with! I hope this helps someone who is stumped on what boots to pickup for this season!

Croc Faux Leather Boots

1 – Croc Faux Leather Boots – If you can believe it, these are under $50! I really love the pointed “Western” vibe, and they’re so in at the moment! I usually pair these with jeans, or with longer skirts and dresses – the pointed toe adds a nice length to your leg and is super flattering.

2 – Leather Ankle Boot – These are my favorite boots of the season, hands down! For one, I LOVE the color, it is so rich. They’re such a great quality, and hit at the perfect length. I hate when boots are too low in the Winter months, so your ankle is either exposed, or the sock underneath shows. These are high enough that they meet the bottom part of the jean, but not too high that they look clunky. They look cute with EVERYTHING – skirts, dresses, jeans, etc!

3 – Suede Upper Boot – These boots are for a specific person – someone who loves a nice vintage inspired touch. They’re a bit higher on the leg, and hit me a little below my calf, so they don’t generally work being styled with jeans. I think they’re super cute with tights and a skirt! I just love the look of them, and while they aren’t an every day pair for me, on the days I’ve worn them I’ve loved how they’ve completed my look.

4 – Lace-Up Boot – These are my other favorite boots of the season, and they’re under $40! I really like that they zip up, so I don’t have to untie and retie them when wearing them (especially since bending over is getting harder with my pregnancy). They have the perfect small heel height to hike around in, walk all day in the city, and not have sore or tired feet. I never had to break them in, they were just always comfortable, and they style well with everything from jeans to skirts!

5 – Oxford Heel – I absolutely adore the color of these shoes, and feel they’re perfect to make an outfit feel more “holiday.’ They look so cute with jeans, and with a holiday dress. They’re not great for super cold days, just because they look a bit weird when worn with socks.

6 – Over the knee Suede Boots – I wear these sooo often, you’re probably sick of seeing them! They are adorable layered over jeans, or with skirts and dresses. This pair takes a bit to ship, since its from the UK, so just a heads up! But they don’t slide down my leg at all, and are my favorite over the knee boots I’ve found to date.

7 – The Carina Boot – If you’re looking for a staple brown boot with a low heel, this is it! These are so  great for the Fall months, and for warmer winter days. They’re a bit lower on the leg, so they do sometimes cause your ankle to peek out, but I’ve gotten so much use out of them on warmer days!

8 – Quincy UGG boot – These are my FAVORITE for super cold days!! They feel sooo nice and cozy on my feet. I never thought I’d be an UGG girl,  but these are actually stylish if worn right, and they are legitimately warm. I got them for my aunt as a holiday gift last year, they also make such a great gift!
