So I promise I am NOT in holiday mode yet. Pinky promise! BUT I am always a little ahead in picking out the pieces I am going to feature for each season, because the best picks always sell out the quickest, sadly. It’s especially the case with holiday PJ’s and holiday sweaters, so I really want to start doing round-ups over here and show you all what I’ve been picking up to wear for the Holiday season! This is just the first few pieces I’ve fallen for so far! Some are budget-friendly, and honestly some are not that much. I like to splurge on ONE nice and not super affordable holiday dress per season usually.
For full disclosure, the only way I can afford to pick up new pieces each season is by selling pieces from last season. I try to look at my job as exactly that, a job. A lot of times I AM just purchasing pieces for shoots, and yes, I will get attached to some and keep them forever, but in general I am very used to living my life wearing something once, and then re-selling it or donating it. All of my clothing is sent to a good home after I wear it, and I love being able to pass on cute pieces to others out there. I know it’s a kind of weird way to live. I just wanted to be open about it, because I know at this time of the year it can seem like bloggers just spend, spend, spend, or have an empty wallet, and I can assure you that I do not! I just reinvest in my business, and this is one way that I do, if that makes sense. I just wanted to get that off of my chest!
