When I first had Hudson, I noticed that everyone around me was using the UPPAbaby VISTA. Maybe that sounds a bit dramatic, but I promise you in my group of mom friends, it was everybody. The thing about strollers is you make your decision on what to use when your baby probably isn’t even born yet (and you basically know nothing and have 0 experience) and then you just live with that decision, because the thought of taking apart the stroller and returning it, or rebuilding an entire new one becomes daunting. So that’s what we did.
But, once we saw this particular UPPAbaby VISTA in the new SPENSER tartan design, we knew it was way too much “me” and impossible to pass up, especially since it was the stroller we’d wanted all along. The grey and yellow tartan is so so cute for the Fall months (and I live in a constant state of Fall colors, as you know haha) and I fell head over heels with how unique it looks! BUT adorable-ness aside, I wanted to give you more of an in-depth review and reasoning as to why we decided to make the switch, and how we’re feeling about it!
So there you have it! There’s a lot of other small details I love about the stroller, like that the canopy has a peek-a-boo cutout in it, or that the brake is a foot brake, making it so easy to push and release. I also love that the toddler seat has an adjustable footrest so it grows with your child. The only difference from my previous stroller is that with the UPPAbaby VISTA, you have to put the break on when you stop, even on flat ground, because it does roll a bit. It took me a little bit of getting used to at first, but the break is so easy to use, that it isn’t a big deal.
I hope my review + reasons for switching helped one of you out, and I HIGHLY recommend this stroller for any first time moms wondering which one to get!
