My Top 2 Beach Shoes For The Spring & Summer + Life Updates!

Hello again! It feels like I’ve been around the world and back the past few weeks, and I usually shy away from this much travel because I am a type-A person who thrives on routine, but I somewhat had the rug pulled out from under me this past few month, and felt like traveling and staying busy was a great way to overcompensate. For one, our house is in full-chaos mode (make sure to watch our vlogs!) so we’re living in a mostly undecorated rental, which is not great for inspiration purposes. My assistant, Danielle, has also been away for the month resting (her first day back was yesterday!), as she had a full mastectomy, and I missed her dearly. She helps me out so much! So with no house, and no amazing assistant, I’ve been sort of like a solo one-man band (+ a toddler) chugging my way through photo shoots with whoever has a free hand to snap some photos! The good news is that our home should be complete in a month or two. So, if it’s any help to anything you may be going through, all things in life come in phases, and most things aren’t forever. This is just a temporary little hiccup, with AMAZING and positive outcomes – that Danielle won’t have to worry about the BRCA gene, and our home will be full renovated, and then life will go on like it once did a few months back!

… So while I was in Florida, and other warm places in general, one of the first things I needed were some beach shoes! There may have been a time many years ago that I was a flip-flops person, but as I get older, I love to wear a shoe to the beach that I can also wear to lunch afterwards, which is why I love my Sperry’s SO much. I used to get made fun of for wearing vintage loafers to the beach (which in my world is not ridiculous at all) – but ever since I found Sperry’s I’ve been hooked. I love how long-lasting they are, and they just look better and better with wear! The pair I have on are Sahara Leather colored brown, but I also really love them in Navy as well! They even make this pair in Hudson’s size, so we can match!! I also love the Penny Loafer, and think they look so stylish with a cute pair of high waisted shorts! If you’re not vibing with the loafers at the beach idea, Sperry has adorable sandals as well!

After this trip to Florida and Coachella I will be back in NY for a while, and will probably stick around for most of the great summer weather, unless we’re taking short camper trips! Let me know in the comments any of your summer plans!
