I am asked very frequently about my eyeglasses, since I wear them almost every day, but I have yet to share my very favorite pairs. I thought it would be convenient to compile a blog post of my favorite pairs to wear, and why I’ve landed on these! I own WAY too many eyeglasses, but I gravitate toward the same three pairs, so here they are!
1 – Duncan in Gold from TIJN: I just got this pair in the mail a day ago, and I’ve already been getting tons of questions from all of you on where they are from! I wanted to test out an eyewear brand I had heard about from Noelle, so this pair was my tester pair – and I am SO happy with them! They have such a cool look, are a unique shape, and I’ve already received tons of compliments while out in the world! I always liked the look of gold frame glasses, but sometimes feel like the plain round ones look basic on my face, unless I wear extra accessories. I like that these feel a bit more special! The only thing about TIJN is be prepared to wait for your glasses – I placed my order a month ago, and it did take about 3.5 weeks for the frames to come.
2 – Nostalgia in Caramel from EyeBuyDirect: This has been my go-to pair of glasses for the past few years. I have them in brown and black, but always gravitate back to the brown. I absolutely love the shape, and how they’re classic but still feel hip, and the nose bridge sits very comfortable on my face! If you scroll through my feed, the pair you’ll mostly see me in is this one!
3 – Roto from Eyebuydirect: I’ve tried on more round framed glasses than I am proud of, and these are my favorite of them all. they’re not too big, but not too small, and I love the metal detailing on the nose bridge. They give that sophisticated buttoned-up look that I love, and I usually pair them with a collared shirt buttoned all the way up, or a cozy winter scarf. They’re probably the pair I wear most during winter months!
