Something that most bloggers never talk about is the logistics of shooting a ton of looks in a single day. When I am away on a “work trip”or a press trip, I will usually bring other work along with me to shoot at various locations during free time. This week when I headed upstate with some blog friends was no exception, and I made my way to so many beautiful Fall locations to shoot for instagram and for clients! It can be so intimidating to drive to photoshoots in new places, especially when I don’t know the parking situation, so I love to leave it up to UberX to get me to tons of different spots within a few hours! Uber gives me the freedom to explore, while also getting my work done, plus I love how safe I always feel while riding in it!
Since having Hudson, it’s really hard to feel free. I am always putting his needs before my own, and on trips my main focus is on keeping him happy, making sure he is clean and well fed, and keeping my eye on him because he’s quick these days. Because of the option to use Uber, I can get all of my shoots done in a shorter amount of time, and not have to find parking, worry about safety or knowing my way! It makes it easier to step out of the car, shoot, and be picked back up quickly. I can step out of the car into the world, snap some photos, get back in, and then head to another location, helping drive my passion and creativity.
