How To Spend A Proper Spring Day In NYC

Spring is finally HERE, and after spending a 78 degree day wandering around NYC with Noelle, I decided to share how we spent our day for those of you traveling to NY around this time of the year!

WHERE WE ATE

We met some other bloggers for brunch at Jacks Wife Freda in Soho. It’s an America-Mediterranean restaurant with the cutest atmosphere, and delicious breakfast-all-day which is always right up my alley. You may have to wait a bit, but it’s gorgeous to wait outside and people watch!

After brunch, we of course had to stop and grab Mister Softie, because it is not a Spring day in NYC until you have a soft serve cone! I always get vanilla with rainbow sprinkles, it’s a classic!

HOW TO DRESS

During Spring, the days are warm and the evenings cool off, so the oldest trick in the book is to wear a cardigan or a light jacket. I’ve also learned the hard way that a day walking around NYC calls for comfortable but stylish shoes, and these Keds were perfect! The thing I love most about these sneaks, is they’re cute with a skirt, but I can change into some high-waisted jeans that I always bring with in my bag for cooler evenings, and they look adorable with jeans as well! There’s nothing like walking for miles and miles and having comfortable feet. It’s INVALUABLE on a beautiful city day. I picked up this pair from Zappos.com and they showed up super quickly, as always!

WHERE TO SHOP

Noelle and I absolutely love shopping around Broadway in Soho. That’s where you can walk in and out of all of your favorite stores, and they are all there within close proximity. It’s also close to a few subway lines, making it easy to get in and get out after you’re done shopping! We both picked up a few new tops in SURPRISE mustard yellow and stripes, our two favorites!

What are some of your favorite things to do on a beautiful Spring day in NYC?

*Thanks to Zappos.com for partnering on this post, as always all opinions are my own.
