After answering a lot of the same questions regularly through DM’s, I thought it would be a fun idea to compile them all into a blog post that covers most bases! So, here it is, all of my most frequently asked questions answered!
How do you edit your photos for instagram?
I basically edit my images the same exact same way every time using three different apps. I use the Cascade filter from the Afterlight app, then I use the Darkroom app to remove all of the cool colors and increase the saturation on the warm colors. Last, I use Snapseed to remove all of the saturation on the whites of my images, to create consistency amongst whites across my feed. I have an entire video on my Youtube channel walking you through the process!
How do you create the effects on Instagram Stories?
I use two different apps for Stories – I film my Stories in the 8mm app, which allows you to achieve a Vintage filter on video. I then add text and music through an app called Hype Type.
Where can I find your clothing that you don’t tag?
Sometimes if a post is sponsored, I won’t be able to tag the items I am wearing in the image, BUT don’t fret, I add everything I purchase to the “SHOP” tab on my blog! You can shop my closet, shop items from my home or shop my mom favorites!
Do you have a hair tutorial for the bun or braided crown you wear?
Yes! I created videos for both on my Youtube channel! Here is the crown braid tutorial, and here is the bun!
What are your favorite places to shop?
I do most of my shopping online – here’s where I shop the most: ASOS, Madewell, J.Crew, Modcloth, Old Navy, Urban Outfitters, Forever21, Sezane
What camera and lens do you shoot with?
I shoot with a Canon SL2 camera and a Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens.
What is your job?
I work full-time on this blog at the moment! I worked in social media for a while at various marketing companies + my last job was for letgo, but when I had Hudson I left my job to run this blog full-time and spend more time with Hudson!
How do bloggers make money?
There’s a few ways bloggers make money.
1 – Through affiliate links
2 – Through campaigns with brands / sponsored content
3 – Through event hosting or attendance
