Personal: 5 Things Behind The Instagram

I love this series, and shedding some light on what goes into being a blogger with you guys, so let’s continue some behind-the-scenes action…

1 – I knew I wanted to shoot in Phoenicia Diner, but sometimes going into a place with set plans of shooting leads to let down. In this case, Hudson decided he was really upset that I wasn’t holding him, so he was squirming and crying in Matt’s arms while we snapped these. It was a bit chaotic, and we seriously didn’t want to interrupt anyone’s meals, so we snapped them as quickly as possible, and maybe bickered a bit along the way. πŸ˜‰

2 – My hot dog dress actually broke a few seconds before we left! HAHA. My friend used a hair tie to keep it closed in the back, because the zipper broke!

3 – My mom was the photog in this one! She’s actually really great behind the camera, and has that little extra mom touch. She came with upstate to the Angry Orchard with me for a campaign, and fell in love with cider, so was probably a little bit tipsy while we took this too! She had never been to an Apple Orchard so she was like a little kid in a candy store.

4 – Claude was the most uncooperative model during these photos, because she kept spotting squirrels! haha! Matt joked that she failed her instagram debut, but then her picture did so well, that he was like JK claude. But yeah, she kept looking for squirrels and it was so hard to get this shot!

5 – My brother Brian snapped this in Chicago in Willis Tower. People were definitely like “wtf is this lady doing sitting on the floor with her baby” while we were shooting, because there’s a giant line of people waiting to shoot photos all day since it’s such a touristy spot. I guess I am at the point in this blog journey where I’m just like w/e, I’m a weirdo, I want to get my shot. LOL. Sorry if you ever see us out and about doing weird things!
