Much-Needed Celebrations: It’s The Little Things

It’s so easy to become wrapped up in the minutiae of daily life, and as silly as this sounds, we have to remind ourselves to HAVE FUN, and celebrate the little things. In lieu of tons and tons of house projects that we accomplished this week, we decided to have a fun little day-date, Hudson in tow, for some good ole’ burger and fries, so White Castle it was! I’ve always loved popping in to White Castle – the little teeny burgers are so cute, and my dad and Matt are obsessed. But the best part (for me) is the Gold Peak Brewed Tea – and the fact that I can let my 15 boxes of kitchen supplies sit for a while longer, but still feel like I am at home.

There is something about a glass of tea that makes me feel cozy, which I think has something to do with growing up in the South. My mom used to make homemade iced tea for us, and every time I drink it now it feels like home. Buttt anyway, we ordered a ton of epic food, and had a blast eating good old fashion burgers and fries and I also tried chicken and waffles because how could I not?! Here’s some snaps of our day.

What little thing would you go out to celebrate this week? Let me know in the comments!

*Thank you to Gold Peak Tea for sponsoring this post. All opinions, as always, are my own!
