Just two hot dogs waiting for their uberX. 🙂 Halloween is our favorite holiday (as you guys who have followed for a while know) so we knew we needed a mom & dad’s night out to enjoy being in our favorite throw-back costumes around town. We wanted to make sure we didn’t have to keep parking at each place we went, because Long Beach can be a bit of a pain for that, so we were picked up right outside our door by uberX – Can you say convenient??
We had just enough time to snap some fun photos before our ride showed up, and get our giggles out. Our friend Kyle was nice to enough to take some snaps! Apparently Matt thinks I am just hilarious in this costume (but I guess I feel the same about him haha).
Our first stop was at a friends house nearby for some sp00ky fun – he has an awesome dock overlooking the bay with string-up lights, and we were able to catch an epic sunset. We absolutely loved that Uber allowed us to Save Places, making it so much easier to get to his place! The app let’s you save your frequently visited places, so you don’t have to worry about remembering the address, because most people throwing a party don’t have their phone on them to text you back when you’re lost on the way! All of the logistics are taken care of, so we can laugh more and think less = #Hallowinning.
Then we went to grab a bite to eat (yes, in costume lol!) It feels good to have that time together to keep dating each other, and reminisce about what it felt like to be hot dogs in Miami years back before we were even married.
