Iceland Photo Diary: Hofn & East Fjords/Seydisfjordur

As we continued to drive along the ring road, we eventually hit Seljavallalaug, a thermal pool in the middle of a mountain valley. It was about a 15 minute hike to find, but one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever been to. The water was a bit icky, but I’d do it all over again if I had the chance 🙂

^^ Svartifoss Waterfall, we hiked a bit to reach it but it was totally worth it!

^^ The Glacier Lagoon was unreal. We saw seals!

We spent two nights in Seydisfjordur, a small little town in the middle of a breathtaking mountain valley. We drove over the mountain through snow caps in what looked like the North Pole, and then as we drove down the mountain the temperature got way warmer and then along came this adorable and quaint town.
^^ Picked up this cute hand knit ear warmer in a local shop
^^ Matt went for a surf!
^^ We went puffin watching and were able to see some!

Anyway, I am still in Barcelona but will be back soon with more regular updates!! XO
