before leaving to be with our family, matt and i spent thanksgiving morning together baking pancakes, playing monopoly and walking claudie on the boardwalk. it was a nice brisk day, and it even snowed a bit in the morning! i absolutely love mornings in our house, with candles lit and holiday music playing while i cook. it has this feeling to it, one that i knew it would have from the second i laid eyes on our house.
i wore this cozy outfit to thanksgiving dinner, complete with some extra breathing room after turkey, stuffing, dessert and spiked coffee. i’ve been wearing glasses a lot these days because my contacts feel super dry in the colder weather… i love this pair from polette, because they are bold enough, but i don’t feel overly ridiculous in them (like i sometimes do in my X-large round glasses). i hope you are all staying warm & bundled, and that you had a very happy thanksgiving.
