It has been a while since I’ve been on here sharing my recent favorites, mostly because I haven’t loved anything in stores recently! Everything feels so “street style” to me, which is not my vibe at all, so it has been interesting navigating continuing my own style in a time where the trends are not entirely what I love to wear. I’ve really taken to the band tee trend, and find that they’re so easy to throw on in the summertime, and look cute with denim! I love that all of these pieces can transition as the weather gets a bit cooler toward the end of the month! Here’s some of my favorites, with reasons why!
Paper bag shorts – These are THE MOST PERFECT shorts. I love the color, they’re somewhat thick so they’re more structured, and they are such a great length – short but not too short. I did size up in them (I ordered a M) because I prefer my shorts on the larger side, and I am happy that I did because they seem to run a bit small.
Flower shirt – This shirt is the cutest pattern! It’s a bit thicker fabric, so it works great for the end of summer and early Fall! I ordered a size S.
Yellow blazer – Mustard yellow cardigans are a Fall must-have, but I also love layering them on summer nights over a t-shirt and some shorts. This one is nice and long, and it definitely fits a bit oversized. I ordered a size S but could have probably sized down to an XS.
Striped sweater – This sweater just makes me happy – it reminds me of my favorite Pendleton blanket! It’s such a cute piece for a summer evening and has a nautical vibe to it, but also works in fall with some nice caramel accessories and a cozy scarf!
Yellow skort – I love that this looks like a skirt, but is actually shorts! I also sized up to a M, because Forever 21 runs so short and I prefer the little bit of extra length!
Band tee – This one is self explanatory – it’s so cute!
Floral overalls – I love how cozy these are! They’re also not sooo oversized, but they’re not tight either. They’re selling out quickly.
Queen tee – Such a cute tee – it runs a bit large, so I’d size down!
Overals – These are the best fitting overalls I’ve owned! I ordered the XS, they run somewhat large!
