One of my missions in life is to find the perfect pair of denim, as I’m sure most of you can relate to. It is so so hard to find 1 pair that meets every need, especially since I am tall, but after doing MUCH research, I keep going back to the same few styles and stores. I created this post last Fall with my favorites, so figured I would update with new links for this year, for those of you who are still on the hunt. I am pretty dead set on high-waisted jeans only, and I prefer straight leg or skinny, not wide leg! Here’s my top 3 favorite pairs:
1. Madewell 10-inch high rise: This is by far my favorite denim out there. I always order them in a Tall, because I am 5 ft 8, and the Regular length is a bit short for me. I love that they have “magic pockets” or a double lining over the stomach area for a flatter stomach look. I have them in black, with a step hem, and in a regular denim. They’re my every day go-to pair.
2. Urban Outfitters Girlfriend Jean: I love the looser fitting cut of this jean, and I also LOVE how high the waist is. It must be about 13 inches in the front. It’s so comfortable, and has a cute crop to it, so it looks cute with boots!
3. Zara 80’s High Waist Jean: I love how comfortable and stretchy this pair is, and the waist is not AS high as the other two, but still a nice high waist. I sized up, because Zara typically runs a bit small, and I think jeans usually look best when they aren’t squeezed into.
