As most of you know, we are HUGE coffee lovers over here. I am team French Press, Matt is on team Pour Over and we are BOTH on team cold brew! Once it gets warm outside, we usually would head out to our coffee shop for cold brew. We had never brewed it at home, but knew it took quite a while to make and usually we’re pretty impatient when it comes to coffee. YES, we could have made batches, but if I am being honest we’re pretty busy and we just never made the time for it. When I heard about this Cuisinart Cold Brew Coffee Machine, I was sold! It fits into my morning routine seamlessly.
On mornings that I work from home and Hudson is in daycare, my routine usually looks a little bit like this…
7:00AM – Hudson wakes up!
7:45AM – We head out to drop Hudson off at his daycare
8:30AM – When I get home I usually put on a little makeup, get dressed, and get ready to either shoot or work from the house on e-mails and blog posts. I don’t like to sit at home in my pajamas, even if it’s a work from home day, because it just makes me feel better about life to be dressed cute!
9:00AM – I get my coffee brewing! During the summer, cold brew is my thing, and the Cuisinart cold brew coffee maker takes only 25 minutes to brew a cup! The machine basically saturates coffee grounds in cool water, so you just have to add coffee and cold water, and then press a button! It’s so easy. I usually make a big batch, so I only have to brew it once every few days, but on days I set it up to brew, I head out on a walk for Claude while I wait!
9:10AM – Take Claude on a little walk around the neighborhood!
9:25AM – Come and drink my cold brew while I start my e-mails, which is usually where you’ll find me until lunch! The coffee tastes so good, I don’t even need to add milk to it!
There you have it, a typical morning of working from home for me + how we make our new favorite at-home drink, COLD BREW! Let me know if you enjoy this hour by hour type post, and I can show you what a typical day with Hudson looks like soon!
Thanks to Cuisinart for sponsoring this post, as always all opinions are my own!
