It’s wild how much changes every year (and how quickly the years fly by!) Last year I had a different home, a different job and I had no clue that I would be pregnant this year! But 28 was a wonderful year filled with all extremely positive changes in my life! We finally moved to a home we’re going to stay in for a while, I found a job that I don’t just like, but that I LOVE, and I get to share my b-day donuts and cake with this little guy growing inside of me. I feel like Matt and I found a groove this year, which trust me is a hard thing to do when you both work remotely/ freelance.
BUT, looking ahead, I am so excited for 29. I thought I would be a bit sad knowing that this was the last year in my twenties, but the other day I realized that I would never, for a zillion dollars or a lifetime supply of free vintage, redo these years. It’s onward and upward for me, and it feels good to finally have some things about life (or the life I want to live) figured out. Early and mid-twenties are adventurous and free-spirited and downright HARD sometimes. Things are less up-and-down these days, and I like it that way. I don’t feel a day over 18, but I AM a decade older, and that’s fine by me!
I’m celebrating my day in Martha’s Vineyard with my parents, and can’t wait to finish working for the day so we can go out for dinner and donuts! =P
