1 Must-Have When Roadtripping With A Baby

We’re quickly becoming pretty good at roadtripping with a baby, and bringing the car on trips makes bringing baby gear much easier! We were excited to test out the CYBEX Cloud Q carseat in this beautiful Autumn Gold color that I’ve chosen as “Hudson’s color” since he was born. I always see the Cloud Q out and about, and they look so sleek! There’s a few really great things about this seat that make traveling with a baby much easier –

  • It has a full reclining position when clicked into the stroller – this is SO cool for us, because while traveling we don’t bring Hudson’s stroller seat. It’s so nice that he can nap in the carseat in recline mode!
  • It’s very easy to get Hudson in and out! The seat has an adjustable headrest that I can expand as Hudson gets taller, and a no rethread harness with a big easy-to-use button in the middle.
  • The handle has SIX possible positions. Unheard of, seriously. I love that I can reposition the handle when he’s in the stroller, so he can play with toys on the handlebar.
  • A “load leg” that keeps the carseat in place in case of a crash. It’s great for more piece of mind, mamas.
  • The canopy is so cool looking, and I love the pretty color.

We’re excited for tons more adventures with this seat – well, until this big guy grows out of it!

I love the color you chose for the baby seat! It would be cool to see a post on what you and Matt have done to make road tripping with a baby successful. My husband and I want to have kids in the next few years, so it’s always helpful to hear insights from parents who have already done it!
